Construction and rental

Construction & rental

For contractors and rental fleets running a mixed list of machines, where the replacement size is often unknown when the request goes out. We start from the machine models and work back to the size, confirm what the catalogue documents and what it does not, and say so when a size is not in it rather than substituting.

Who this is for

  • Contractors running wheel loaders, graders and site machines across several jobs
  • Equipment rental companies replacing tires before a machine goes back out
  • Site managers who know the machine but not the size
  • Buyers consolidating replacement tires for several sites into one request

What goes wrong, and where our part ends

  • Problem

The request goes out with the machine model but no size.

    Impact

It comes back as a question, and the machine waits.

    What we do

We start from the model, then ask for the size marked on the tire u2014 or a photo of the sidewall where it cannot be read.

    Limits

We do not infer a size from the machine model alone. Model years and options change the fitment.

  • Problem

Machines from different sites are assumed to share sizes.

    Impact

Sizes get ordered in the wrong quantity, and the surplus sits unused.

    What we do

We list the request machine by machine, with the site beside each line.

    Limits

We cannot consolidate quantities across sites without a per-machine list.

  • Problem

A tire is chosen on price for a machine that works both on road and on site.

    Impact

One tire is asked to do two jobs, and one of them suffers.

    What we do

We ask where the machine actually works u2014 road, hard standing, or unpaved ground u2014 before naming a construction.

    Limits

We do not recommend a construction without knowing the surface split.

Fit by machine

Equipment, condition and what to confirm before ordering
Equipment Condition Selection factors Confirm before order
Wheel loader Loading and carrying on unpaved ground, short cycles
  • Tread pattern for the surface
  • Load on the front axle
  • Size listed for the rim
The rim size fitted, and whether the machine also works on hard standing
Motor grader Spreading and levelling along the road edge
  • Rib orientation
  • Rim size
  • Size availability
The rim size and the size on the current tire. The catalogue holds a limited number of grader sizes, so this is confirmed before quoting

How a quote is prepared

  1. You send the machine list, with the size or a sidewall photo for each unit.
  2. We confirm the size and check what the catalogue documents for it.
  3. We quote per size and per quantity, and list any size we cannot document.
  4. You confirm each size against the sidewall before the order is placed.

What you receive

  • A machine-by-machine reply with the size we understand to be fitted
  • What the catalogue documents for each size, with the gaps marked
  • A list of the machines whose size could not be confirmed, and what is needed to confirm it
  • A quotation per size and per quantity once the list is confirmed

This page does not list patterns of its own: the sizes we publish are listed on the catalogue pages, by pattern and by machine type.

Common questions

I don't know the size u2014 can you still quote?

Yes, but the size has to be confirmed first. Send the machine model and year plus a photo of the sidewall.

Yes, but the size has to be confirmed first. Send the machine model and year plus a photo of the sidewall. Working from the model alone is not reliable across model years.

Can you quote a mixed list of machines?

Yes. A machine-by-machine list with a quantity per machine is what we need; a single total quantity cannot be split reliably across sizes.

Do you supply tires for machines that also work on the road?

The catalogue separates road and off-road lines. Tell us the surface split, and we will confirm which line the size belongs to.

What if the size is not in the catalogue?

We will say it is not documented rather than offer a close size.

Next step

To quote this accurately, we need:

  1. Machine make, model and year for each unit
  2. The size marked on the tire, or a photo of the sidewall where it cannot be read
  3. Where the machine works: road, hard standing, or unpaved
  4. Quantity per machine or per site
  5. Whether the request is for one machine or a mixed list
